In  ACCIDENTE spielen Taxifahrer die Vaterrolle meines noch ungeborenen Kindes. In den Taxi-Innenräumen, wo fremde Menschen tagtäglich ein Stück Weg miteinander teilen, initiiere ich mit den Fahrern ein Rollenspiel, um das gesellschaftliche Bild von einer werdenden Mutter, von Beziehung, Vaterrolle und Kernfamilie zu hinterfragen. Wir suchen nach Namen für das Baby, sprechen über unsere finanziellen Möglichkeiten und entdecken Ähnlichkeiten zwischen den „Papas“ und dem Embryo auf dem Ultraschallbild. Intimität und Anonymität rücken auf engstem Raum zusammen.

Wie wird eine Frau angesehen, die keinen Vater für ihr Kind hat? / die noch keinen Vater für ihr Kind hat? / die mehrere Väter für ihr Kind hat? Brauchen Kinder Väter? Und wenn ja, wie viele? Wie könnte spontanes Coparenting aussehen? Ist das Kind in meinem Bauch mein Problem, eine Privatsache? Was passiert, wenn man romantische Prozesse überspringt? Wie wird Anonymität zu Intimität? Kann man durch das Spielen echte Erfahrungen erlangen? Wann wird ein Spiel ernst? Was wäre, wenn man Wegbegleiter und Verantwortungsträger bestellen könnte wie Taxis? …

In ACCIDENTE, cab drivers play the role of the father of my still unborn child. In the cab interiors, where strangers share a part of the journey every day, I initiate a role play with the drivers to question society's image of an expectant mother, relationship, father role and nuclear family. We look for names for the baby, talk about our financial possibilities and discover similarities between the "dads" and the embryo on the ultrasound image. Intimacy and anonymity come together in a very small space.

How is a woman viewed who has no father for her child? / who does not yet have a father for her child? / who has several fathers for her child? Do children need fathers? And if so, how many? What could spontaneous coparenting look like? Is the child in my belly my problem, a private matter? What happens when you skip romantic processes? How does anonymity become intimacy? Can real experiences be gained through play? When does a game become serious? What if you could order companions and caretakers like cabs?
